My designs are created to last as long as possible. Here you learn how to care for your jewellery to ensure you will enjoy and treasure it for a long time.
Caring for your Sterling Silver Jewellery.
Precious metals do tarnish over time, even if they are stored correctly in a nice jewellery box, a tarnish preventing cloth or bag (or pop in an anti-tarnish tab). Keep your jewellery in a cool and dry place. From time to time it’s a good idea to polish your items with a silver polishing cloth. The same goes for plated jewellery.
Caring for your beaded rings.
My beaded Swarovski crystal rings are made with strong Fireline (normally used for fishing) to prevent the sharp edges of the crystals from cutting through the thread. However it is advisable not to wear these designs while doing your housework! The band of the ring can break if it’s a very tight fit and a repair results in creating the ring from scratch again. The band does give a little.
Polymer clay jewellery.
Though polymer clay is generally tough, it can break. I had a few accidents. When polymer clay items hit the hard floor they can break, so handle these items with care.
