Dichroic jewellery is traditionally made of glass, but you can mimic the effect with polymer clay. This dichroic round pendant in blue, red and gold is truly one-of-a-kind and one of my favourite designs. It will surely turn heads. It is handcrafted with translucent and gold polymer clay, artificial gold leaf and alcohol inks in blue and red. The pendant has a textured back and my signature cane.
The pendant has been varnished several time to seal the foil in. It hangs on a flexible buna (rubber) cord. The bail is also made with polymer clay.
What it’s made with:
- polymer clay in translucent and gold
- alcohol inks in blue and red
- Gilder’s paste in gold
- artificial gold leaf
- buna cord
- 14mm silver plated lobster clasp
- The pendant measures about 4,5cm in diameter
Length: The buna cord measures 18inches (45cm).
1 pendant of this kind is available. However you can find other faux dichroic pendants in the shop.
