Dichroic jewellery is traditionally made of glass, but you can mimic the effect with polymer clay. This dichroic round pendant in purple, blue and yellow is truly a one-of-a-kind and another one of my favourite designs. It will surely turn heads. It is handcrafted with translucent and silver polymer clay, artificial silver leaf and alcohol inks in blue and purple.
The pendant has been varnished several time to seal the foil in. It hangs on a flexible buna (rubber) cord. The bail is also made with polymer clay.
What it’s made with:
- polymer clay in translucent and silver
- alcohol inks in purple, blue and yellow
- artificial silver leaf
- buna cord
- 14 mm silver plated lobster clasp
- The pendant measures about 4,5 cm in diameter
Length: The buna cord measures 18 inches (45 cm).
1 pendant of this kind is available. However you can find other faux dichroic pendants in the shop.
