If you like dichroic jewellery, you will be surprised to learn that you can mimic the effect with polymer clay. This dichroic round pendant in red, blue and yellow is truly a one-of-a-kind. It reminds me a bit of an abstract sea landscape. The pendant is handcrafted with translucent and silver polymer clay, artificial silver leaf and alcohol inks in red, blue and yellow. Its back is textured and has a slice of my signature cane attached to it.
The pendant has been varnished several time to seal the foil in. It hangs on a flexible buna (rubber) cord. The bail is also made with polymer clay.
What it’s made with:
- polymer clay in translucent and silver
- alcohol inks in purple, blue and yellow
- artificial silver leaf
- buna cord
- 14mm silver plated lobster clasp
- The pendant measures about 4,5cm in diameter
Length: The buna cord measures 18inches (45cm).
1 pendant of this kind is available. However you can find other faux dichroic pendants in the shop. Reduced from £26.
