This beautiful shell copper pendant is handcrafted with copper clay. For the shell I made a mould out of a shell I found on the beach into which I pressed the clay. After firing and cleaning the shell, I polished and then antiqued it with liver of sulphur. To prevent the antiquing effect from becoming darker and the copper turning the skin green, I also varnished the shell copper pendant. It hangs on an antiqued copper chain which closes with a lobster clasp.
What it’s made with:
- Copper clay
- Liver of sulphur
- Antiqued copper chain and lobster clasp
The chain measures about 19 inches (48.26 cm), the shell measures about 2 cm.
Only one of this design is available, however you can find more copper clay pendants in the shop.
